Destination Golf. Thoughtfully Told.

Pitch Mark is a destination golf journal devoted to long-form storytelling and the pursuit of places that reveal themselves slowly. We travel to courses and resorts where the experience spills well beyond the scorecard — shaped by land, architecture, hospitality, weather, and the strange, unrepeatable moments that happen when you stay long enough to notice.

Our work is grounded in respect for the game and the craft of writing, but never in reverence alone. We believe the most meaningful experiences leave impressions that linger — bruises, scars, memories — and that the best stories, like well-struck shots under pressure, should land hard and leave something behind.

Pitch Mark exists to leave marks through storytelling.

FEATURE STORY

We came off the 18th green at Old Mac and ran to the shuttle. We had just received the phone call: our clubs had arrived and were now waiting for us at the main lodge. Forced to spend two rounds without them, we were so stunned by this miraculous reunion that we hadn’t remembered to pay our caddies, Shane and Brian. For all we knew they were still leaning-against the bag stand under the assumption we were in the pro shop getting cash. But we were already back in our rooms, hugging and kissing our putters and changing into our own clothes as we prepared to take on the Bandon Dunes.

Not stories. Not highlights.

Just Evidence.

Field Notes is a running collection of moments pulled straight from the course—early light, bad decisions, perfect swings, and everything in between. No polish. No permission. Just golf as it actually happens.

Bandon Dunes

A place that doesn’t care if you’re ready.

Wind, dunes, and the kind of golf that strips you down to instinct. These frames were taken in the thick of it—long walks, cold mornings, and shots that mattered more than they should have.

Bandon isn’t played. It’s endured.

Miscellaneous

Before there was a name for it, there were these.

A collection of shots from years spent chasing courses, light, and the occasional moment of clarity. Different places. Same obsession.

Proof that this was always coming.
